Full Version: Tropical Storm Grace

I don't recall a tropical storm ever forming in this area of the Atlantic. Unless I missed something the last few days, I didn't know there was anything in the Atlantic that was even a depression, now we suddenly have a 70mph tropical storm.

Hardly looks tropical and looks pretty pathethic if it is and those are certainly colder non-trop waters in a season that is quickly cooling off in that area. Seems more like someone padding a storm count than it does a trop system to me. We've had 4 of 6 very uncharacteristic storms already named this year, now we have 5 of 7.

The location and time of season reminds of Hurricane Vince from 2005, but not nearly as organized.
