Full Version: 09' Atlantic hurricane season - quietest in more than a decade

If the full season, which runs from June through November, ended today, it would be the lowest number of storms since 1997. The last time an Atlantic season produced only two hurricanes was 1982.

Was it ever alive this year? If you blinked you missed it. BTW - I think we can make an argument that the Atlantic only produced 2 storms in total.
