FRIGID!!!

Currently 21.6 @ 12:25pm

It went down to 6.9  this morning.

Low of 4.6 in West Milford NJ.

11.6 in eastern Nassau.

5 in Wantage.  Went snowshoeing early this morning at my house it was 6 on the ridge top much colder especially with the winds.  Went through 4 foot drifts.  Was pretty cool.

7, in Butler

7 also in h-town.  i saw it was 0 at HP at 7:18 this morning.  not sure what the low was.

Only 12.8 last night here. My area tends to do best on the radiational cooling nights in terms of how cold we can get here. Nights with strong winds, most locations are just as cold if not colder than me here in Monmouth. Ice's temps seem colder than mine on windy nights.

High made it all the way up to 28.5 this afternoon -- 28.2 now. Temps hold steady overnight with SWLY flow.

Icepack still firmly intact here, no grass showing.

Did some of the ice melt off the trees?

The ice on the trees is completely gone. Lasted about 4 whole days with the cold temperatures. (most was melted off Saturday when we hit 37)

Still some bushes encased in ice on the NE side of my house -- very little sunlight there. Definitely doesn't look like the pic I have in my avatar anymore.

11.1 overnight in Hillsborough...31.1 for the high today

We had a high here of 18 today, after a low of negative 3, forget about the wind chills this Am.  After another nice day of boarding and skiing yesterday (Friday at Bellyare, Sun at Holiday) we wanted to go back today, but just too darn cold for us adults, kids played out side for several hours, I was afraid I would crack..LOL  I am sorry to say though, that as happy as I am to see the temps raise a bit, I love the cold because I hate to see winter leave.

High was 27.3 @ 3:36pm
