The Weather Channel plans to show movies for the first time inits 27-year history. The network in recent years gradually slipped in longer programming, including a morning show hosted by Al Roker, to complement its constantly rotating forecasts.

Full Version: TWC to air movies
Ugh just like the travel channel. Yuck. TWC has also started playing music with vocals. Very annoying. I've always been impressed with the music they played. Even up until a day or two ago they were playing some surprising stuff like Eric Johnson and Sublime. Not sure what happened to that bc over the last 2 days i've been hearing some weird country like stuff with the vocals.
That link doesn't work but it was inevitable just like the music stations moved to broadcasting movies.

No surprise. With all the information with a click of a button on the Internet there is really no need to report the current weather 24.7.
