What would you guys say about the 93 superstorm then? Every state from Georgia to Maine into Quebec and as far west as Ohio and West Virginia was under a blizzard warning at the same time and in most cases the warning was out 12-24 hours before the first snow flake fell. Basically just about the entire eastern third of the US and then some, including SE coastal areas was under a blizzard warning, all at the same time! Tonights midwest storm is a tiny fraction of the blizzard warned area in March 1993. And of course you had large swaths of 2-4 feet of snow with some areas receiving 5-6 feet in that storm. Never saw anything like it before and I doubt I'll ever see anything like it again.
The blizzard of 96 warned areas also badly dwarfed tonights event.
That has to be a once in a life-time thing, doubt we will see anything like that any time soon!
