That whole area is a ticking seismic bomb. They expect a massive earthquake in the Dominican Republic in the future. The powerful aftershock of 6.1 (now reviised down to 5.8) was well predicted.

Since Haiti is without a government. To help out, I am donating one Obama, one Pelosi, one Reid, one Frank, one Coakley and two Clintons! (& Monika to kee[ bill sharp). They may keep them permanently! I'll even give them a constitution since we're not using ours right now!

Well, for that matter, there are lots of ticking time bombs. THe US Midwest, the Ramapo fault, San Andreas Fault, and lets not forget the predicted huge explosion of old faithful, that are all predicted to be likely within 100 years.
