LOL..i knew you would know..actually, I am going to that show..so maybe we will meet up. I hope that bethel adds on some better acts this year, they just received an honor for performing pavilions or something artsy.....Sullivan has to work on the surrounding area's (except my community)..to lure in people to spend some more time up here, there is really a lot to see and explore for all.

Cool yeah i will let you know if i hit that one too. From last year's show dmb fans have been raving about the venue. You can bet they will play there every year from here on out. One thing that i think a lot of people would like would be a campground nearby. From what i heard there really isn't one. Or hotels for that matter.

What about Lynyrd Skynyrd? Sorry, couldn't help it. One of the most under-rated and greatest bands of all time IMO, although recognized as one of the greatest in recent years. Terrible tragedy with their loss in a plane crash (for running out of fuel of all things).

Did you ever hear how they came up with their name? It was the name of a gym teacher in their high school who was always getting after them for their long hair. Their pay-back was to name the band after him, although with different spelling to avoid legal action. In later years the teacher and band made up and he actually introduced the band at several
concerts.

That's a great story. I do remember seeing some type of VH1 show on them a few years ago that was really good. They have a long history. Unfortunately a lot tragedy too.

Somewhat of an acquired taste i guess. I've known a lot of people who have said this over the years.
