Someone was telling me this earlier and I responded similar to you, "Are you serious?!? You must have heard wrong."

But nope - now in the sick twisted world of global warming, snowstorms -- which by the way, occur because the temperatures are colder -- are caused by global warming. I was confident in my stance several years ago but recently I've become even more sold on the idea that man has very little say in effecting Earth's global climate.

Whatever it takes to fit their argument. Never have I seen a group of people wanting to have it both ways so much. First, global warming would cause more Katrina-like hurricanes, now it will actually cause fewer hurricanes. Next, we would see less snow; now we're going to be seeing a lot more because of climate change. A-choo! Excuse me...but I'm allergic to bull!@#$. rolleyes.gif

I just laugh at $hit like this. It's pathetic, they will say anything to get the US hyped up about GW.

Countless millions, maybe even billions. It's a joke; the guy was a lifelong politician (aside from the time he took off to create the internet, of course), now he can tell us all about the climatology of the planet and everyone eats out of his hand. Ridiculous.

It's a weather pattern. We've been in them before. Do these idiots realize how many storms in the past were as bad or worse constantly in a winter and simply missed us out in the ocean. Now all of a sudden because they are more west annd hittng land we have a global warming argument. The atmosphere this year is greatly mixed so it has a lot more moisture in it as a tradeoff of moderate cold. Tha's why there hasn't realy been one severe cold outbreak this wintter. Meanwhile up north Barrow is having one of it's most frigid and dry winters ever and is at -42 right now. Fairbanks is similar with a drier and colder winter than normal. But Barrow has been absolutely brutal with temps often colder than -25. Usually the north Alaska coast is not that cold (more -5 to -10), but this year that area is colder than the interior.

Ice, you can say it's a cycle and all but you cannot dispute the fact..it tends to be warmer during the day than at night....That has to be due to Global Warming...It just has to!!!! You cannot argue with the facts! biggrin.gif

Centuries down the road we'll be emerging from an Ice Age and the loons will still be screaming Global Warming...
