Nah. Come on Jim - that's using your noodle and common sense. We're not dealing with that here. What they'll tell you is 15 years over the course of 100 years is not a good statistical sample for modelling but 100 years over the course of a billion years is a great statstical sample for modelling.

Not really, but when you see those damning e-mails, it's just a nail in the coffin to me. Even if you wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt before, I don't see how you can now. It's obvious that there has been some serious data manipulation.
