A hopeful sign. Good for the city.
Good news, but it's kind of sad that every month in the past 44 years (aside from the one just past) has seen at least one murder in that city. Doesn't say much for society today when we're celebrating that fact.

I think it was do to the rainy weather, wait to the sun comes out for a few days. Also, once the temp hits 80.
Although I think it was Sat that said its been getting better last year
It is a pretty sad honor but honestly in my 12+ years of working and going to school here i've never seen anything bad happen. I realize i'm mainly in the downtown area. There are a ton of nice new bars/restaurants near the arena. I would never hesitate to go anywhere downtown and or the Ironbound area.
