Most people seem to think Tebow has no chance in the NFL and that Denver wasted a No. 1 pick.

Probably...but you never know as it's such an inexact science. He was tremendously successful in a system that can't be run in the NFL and was surrounded with a level of talent that was so much greater than their opposition week in and week out.

Too many times the scouts and so-called "experts" dismiss guys for whatever reason (too small, bad 40 time, etc.). Remember Jesse Armstead from the Giants. The experts said he'd be nothing more than a special teams player because he was too small to be full time linebacker. Well...he turned out to be an All-Pro linebacker. And there have been many guys like that. Sometimes, a guy is just a good football player. They have the intangibles and instincts that can't be taught that give them an edge. Is Tebow one of those guys? I would bet against it, but it's no lock either way.

Two names leap to mind. Doug Flutie and Drew Brees. Tebow has the intangible that doesn't get measured in stats. The will to succeed and the desire to do what it takes to achieve his goal.

Well those two are because they were short. Tebow is because he has a slow delivery, something more serious to overcome. I'm not saying he w'ont make it. I haven't seen enough of him to know anything. But there are so many folks from scouts to coaches to sports show hosts and fans that are thinking that way.

They said his delivery has improved by 600 milliseconds. Which amazingly will give him two extra yards of cushion before he gets hit.

I'll prefer to disagree with you.

Okay, his delivery has improved, but he's not a starting QB in the NFL. He either has to strip down and start over as a passer or he needs to learn to play another position. I thought of him as a H Back actually. He was a spread QB at the college level and it's hard to make that transition at the NFL level. His delivery may be faster, bue he is still low with it. Playing in the spread hurt him, even just by taking a snap from the center and then learning how to read defensive coverage schemes. Plus he was surrounded by a lot of talent, that made his job easier.

I have no idea why Denver took him with the 25th pick. If you're going to be drafted in the 1st round, you're going to get on the field. You don't take a developmental project in the 1st round. I heard that coach Josh McDaniels spent 7 hours with Tim last Monday before the draft and fell in love with Tebow afterwards. Take him in the later rounds, like the 4th or the 5th. Even if he's going to be a starting QB, it's going to be 2-3 years down the road IMO. He's better suited to be a H-Back, or a TE, or even a fullback than a starting QB.

ill disagree with you. I think he will be fine. Not every qb has a perfect realease. Not every first rounder plays in the right away, alot of first round qbs never start in the first year. Dont know where you got that false info from.

Tebow can also be wildcat specialist and have sucess in the league.
