ok, us Northern folks remember this one, it started friday as a coastal storm that produced very heavy rains at nite, then toward morning the storm wound up off the coast, turning the heavy rain to wet snow from my area of poughkeepsie on north, it was very windy with temps falling through the 30s that saturday morning, i received 2 inches of snow that morning with a temp near 34, while areas north and west got quite abit more, catskills got a foot , albany got i beleive 5 inches.

what was cool was this cracked the backbone of the unusually warm winter and heat wave of that mid april, and the summer and winter that followed were wet and cold.

I remember that very clearly, Its the day i got married.
The Smoke Rise inn, Kinnelon I could not beleive there was snow flakes falling as we had our pictures taken.

I remember that storm, but did not see any snow here.

I remember it was cold here in rockland that day, and someone told me later that day that there were flurries. I was taking a nap at the time so i missed it! lol but i guess it really must have happened
