Remember this day well. I was a mile or 2 from where the plane went down .Was living in Rosedale Queens.Remember running home from school in a torrential downpour,Lightning strikes every where.Got home and was on my porch Heard a large bang(thought it was just thunder)then saw this big black cloud of smoke.Did not think much of it till we heard on news that a plane crashed.
Just sat on my porch watching the smoke and all the helicopters flying by,listening to all the sirens.
