Well I guess the whole "Spaceman" thing wasn't an act. This guy really is whacked. And yes, that was harsh. I will say in his defense that Steinbrenner did a lot of very nasty things to people in his earlier days. Many have forgiven him. Some have not. I'll give Lee credit for speaking his mind.

I think its a classic example of the media paints a picture of what we're supposed to see a guy as and that's the side we always see. When he was b@stard George, nothing but negative was ever printed or said about him. When he became Saint George, nothing but good. How many people do you know who are black or white like that? I don't know any. George was who he was. A decent person who did a lot of good for charity and the communities he was part of who could be a real pr!ck to work for but who also took care of the people working for him.
