reports of the Devils resigning him to a 17/yr $100million contract...thats a loooooong time
I guess they stretched it out to mitigate the salary cap impact, but that's a LONG contract. There's got to be some kind of escape clause in it for both parties to mutually depart if circumstances change. He's signed until age 44.
