Wow that is crazy for mid-july even there. That is near where Nittany is going on vacation, not sure if he is there now.

Yup! That was about a week and a half before we were there. We were talking to someone who worked at one of the hotels and they mentioned that they had some snow. I didn't know this much though!

We did have snow showers in the forecast for one of the nights, but not sure if anything actually fell. Woke up to just a wet ground.

Generally sunny mornings with cumulus developing during the afternoon. We had a few scattered showers a couple of the afternoons but nothing serious or too widespread.

One morning started off showery but cleared by the afternoon.

Temperatures were very cool for the first two thirds of the trip, highs in the 60's to near 70, lows in the 30's and 40's (coldest was 33F). Warmed up the last few days with highs in the 70's and low 80's, lows still in the 40's, except for the nights in Calgary in the plains when it was in the 50's.

When was there in late June 3 years ago it was generally 70-75 with decent weather. 2nd day we were there near Lake Louise we saw a few wet snow flakes but that was worst of the weather. Mornings were very cool with many way down in the 30s. Overall it was really nice though. Our last day there we had one of the worst tstorms i've ever seen. Incredible lightning and quite a bit of hail. Oh and i loved it not starting to get dark until around 11 pm!
