Some mets have compared this winter to 1956. There was a storm on March 16-17, 1956. Is this a repeat. The pics I saw show several inches of snow on grass but nothing in street. With March sun angle and a quick 2-3 day warmup, I don't know if surface temperatures are cold enough for it to stick to ground. Even at night time, it would have to snow very hard.

1956 had some outrageous snowfall totals inland.
