Another GFS/NAM battle here. NAM is mostly sleet for NYC, GFS is mostly snow. I went with a blend of the two solutions -- 4-8" of snow and sleet combined for NYC. A few inches of that 4-8" (maybe more?) is likely to be in the form of sleet.

My contractor just came and he counted 7 accidents on the roads..I was shocked that he even showed up..

Oh no, we want the exact amont right down to the 1/2" block by block!! LOL  :D   On the new runs does that mean less sleet for us up here? Thanks Storm

not sure if the gfs is wright since we haven't had one snow flake here in wetern nassau county just heavy sleet so the nam might be wright.

WCBS-880 just said that there were 6 accidents within a 7-mile span of the Garden State Parkway, between exits 131 and 138.
