Members,

As John and I discuss the future of the site, it has come to our attention that we are in serious need of financial help.  With regard to the website, hosting, and simply money to secure future upgrades when we need them.  We don't believe in annually charging members for the content we voluntarily provide, so when necessary we will hold donation drives.  Thus, we are taking a member-wide poll.  How many of you would be willing to donate about 10 dollars to the site to help us achieve our donation goal for this year to provide for operating and expanding costs?

Dude, shouldn't have set the bar so low at 5-10. Now if you have to ask for more, people will be grumpy. Is this donation tax deductible, and would I have to fill out the tax form? Or will weathergeek take care of all the paperwork for us? ;)

I was just trying to make it seem more appealing to people.  If there are members that are inclined to donate more money to the site, then great!  And at this time, donations are not tax deductible.

As I responded to Brett's E-Mail, I am definatley in. Just visited the other "site" and although there is no nonsense going on, there is also no info!!!!!  LOL  Thanks again and let us know where to send the money.
