I was actually surprised to notice them in Newark today. Not sure when they started since I was away and haven't noticed since I got back. I'm surprised bc I really thought it was too cold to see them. We haven't even had the forsythia's yet here in H-town.

I actually saw my first forsythia's shrub showimg some yellow today on rt 23 on the riverdale hill. Spring has finally begun. Though my neighbors is still bare

yes it was very strange. Especially walking around Arlington and seeing the grass covered in snow.

Absolutely gorgeous, it is like, one day nothing and the next thing, bamm. They are right on schedule. I have not seen this much blue sky and sun since last Saturday in St. Barth's...LOL Great out now!

most trees @ least budding but there are a few that are still barren. The difference between tomorrow and next friday WRT blooming is going to be phenomenal.
We have a GIGANTIC cherry blossom in the yard behind my house and I can't believe how late it is with blooming! It still is only budding when normally, the blossoms fall off sometime in early April. It's crazy how cold it's been...

Anyone with allergies should start taking your meds. now. Every plant and tree will probable bloom in the next few days. Watch as the pollen count sky rockets.
