Here in Cornwall NY the clouds that were already here turned alot darker and the winds are picking up. NWS is saying to expect a short period of heavy rain and gusty winds but are not refering to it as a thunderstorm.

Looks like a band setting up to the north west

Had a short t-storm about 45 mins ago. Rained hard enough to send everybody home at a baseball field down the street from me. Only one clap of thunder out of the rain period.
