I heard FOX 5 was coming out with a radar that let's you see 2 points of a storm. It's called "sky" something, I forgot.

They keep airing strange commercials about it....but have said nothing about it on their website or newscasts as far as I know.  If they are smart they will release it before severe weather season really gets kickin'.

They put Lynn White on there. I remember when she used to do Good Day New York, then she moved to the WB11 Morning News back then.

does anybody like the new WABC radar....it seems they changed the base maps and the reflectivity colors slightly, at least yesterday morning when i was watching heidi.

Yeah, Lee and Bill said they moved everything to HD. The new map shows up to the minute winds and weather, and they can zoom into storms.

Yeah they also updated the graphics a month or so ago...I imagine that is part of the whole "going HD" thing.

Its bad that their news studio burned down. They said even the set of "Live with Regis and Kelly" got burned too, and that they are in a temp studio.

I think "Live with Regis and Kelly" is being done out of the Millionaire studio until their set is back to normal
