are going to see no major snow storm in the northeast as per the models he has seen as of 1pm today, can Robbbs,Storm,Ice help out with those thoughts...thx.

Key words are "as per the models". As per the models - he's right - discarding the Ukie. But you don't change an entire forecast to little or no snow until you have a few runs of model consistancy.
