If you look at the radar as of now, it looks like a large dry spot in the middle of all the precip. Is this suppossed to fill in as the low forms later tonight off the coast? Or what we are getting now is basically it? Just wondering. Because if it fills in, wouldn't the Hudson Valley area get a lot of ice, even if it is of the light variety. Thanks.

we could be in for a major ice event if it does not go above 32 degrees, cold air is hanging tough, i am watching out west that heavy band or rain, if we dont warm up, we could have one serious ice situation here, but chances are the warm air will win out, once we get freezing rain starting temps will probably jump, more easy for temps to jump with freezing rain rather than sleet or snow.
