i have to log in every time i visit the site. how can i stay logged in ?? like i was able to do before the upgrade

All you need to do is go to the main page, and log in there. As long as you don't log out you will always stay logged in.

how come I can only post picks with tinypic? I figured it would be the same as eastern?

I don't understand what you mean.

on eastern you can load a pic without tinypic. evertime I try here I get "file is to large"

Well then that particular image is too big. You'd probably get the same message on eastern.

not with the pics I was trying to download. They were posted on eastern a year ago

If you would like to use our attachment system the maximum image size is 2mb. That is more than enough and Eastern has the same 2mb restriction. If your image is larger, use ImageShack or TinyPic.

yea that may be the problem, but for some reason tinypic even made my pic huge. Go look it the off topic thread I started

What you put into your signature is not an image. It is a Flash file, which we do not allow and didn't allow on the old board either.

The one you put in for me wasn't working so I tried that one which didn't work either. How can I get it to work?

Also, how do I adjust my time settings? I am about 6 hours off right now, tried to find a place to set my time zone but maybe it's universal to the site? Do I need to adjust anything?

Which one is that? You mean like another town? Or your own personal weather station?

The format was different. It was one of the other styles, had more precise temperature (tenth of degrees).

I cant find any with degree's to the nearest 10th, I'll look in a minute but these Giants are killing me :frantics:

Time issue has been resolved.

The staying logged in issue should be resolved now. You may have to log in once more as the cookie settings were just reset.

If you are still having problems with your time, make sure you are using Eastern time with automatic DST enabled.

To check this, go to your User CP (My Controls) and select Board Settings on the left.

well that was the problem, maybe you should of told everybody that that was the issue. It had me on casablanca time

The picture is too big and exceeds the 50KB board limit

Try re-sizing it, if you cannot do that shoot Brett a PM and have him change it! haha

I actually still do, I've done this before and it never did this...do I have to resize the picture first? It's just like all of the other pictures that I have done in the past.

Upload your picture to a site like tinypic.com or imageshack.us and then enter the direct link to the image into the online avatar image field in your Avatar Settings.
