Man, give it up. Didn't we learn not to have these types of knee-jerk reactions after the '05 hurricane season? That was supposed to be a consequence of global warming as well. Did Kerry happen to mention the huge snowstorm that China got? How about the intense cold in Alaska, even by their standards?

If it weren't for La Nina and the SE Ridge, we'd be freezing our butts off on a regular basis as well. It's been damn cold in many parts of the nation. Many record lows have been set.

If much of the northern Hemisphere can get another winter like this (excluding us of coarse) then maybe the global warming hype will die down.

They'll still find a way to spin it. They'll say that it's a "counterintuitive consequence" of global warming, a la the Day After Tomorrow scenario.
