As the storm departed I wanted to get some damn sleep after staying up last night for this but of course, I get the weatherbug chirp for a new WSW.. there goes sleeping
A Winter Storm Warning Remains In Effect Until 12 PM EST Wednesday.
Light To Occasionally Moderate Snow Will Continue Through The Overnight With Additional Accumulations Generally Ranging From 2 To 4 Inches. Amounts Of 3 To 6 Inches Will Be Possible In The Areas Of Lake Enhancement North Of Buffalo And Batavia And Also In Areas Of Terrain Enhancement Across Wyoming County.

The Widespread Snow Will Taper Off To Scattered Snow Showers During The Day Wednesday With Another Inch Or Two Accumulation Possible.
Winds Will Shift To The Northwest And Increase Later Tonight Into Wednesday With Gusts Approaching 30 Mph. This Will Result In Some Blowing And Drifting Snow...Especially In Open Areas.
bands seem to be setting up right over me.. seeing moderate to occasionally heavy snow for the past 20-30 mins. Already have over 6 inches, will measure later after the snow stops. Should end up doing alright with another 3 or more inches on top of what i've got. Was not expecting LES around here, but I guess you never know.
22 Degrees Mod Snow Temps Falling. Big Flakes. Crystals are reflected in areas with light outside. Very nice sight to see.

Nice pics. Since it's from buffalo though i'm just going to move this into US weather so we keep the peace around here

Are you at University of Buffalo? Is that Main Street in the background? I work in western New York at times during the summer.
