We have also gone through the main site and updated any out-of-date content and added changed a few things around.

A few quick notes:

If there is anyone who is knowledgeable in the areas of IT/web development, advertising/PR, graphic design, video production, or anyone else that feels they may be of help to NYC Metro Weather, please contact us (if you responded to the email, great) so we can have your name on record. Also, if anyone who possesses a meteorology or atmospheric science degree would like a Meteorologist Tag below their name on the forum who does not have one already, please contact us.

Stay with NYC Metro Weather! Summer brings heat waves, thunderstorms, hurricanes, and wicked weather and you'll find the latest information and discussion specific to our area.

I just put that site banner on my eastern profile. thumbsup.png Not to be a critic, but it would probably make more sense to put the photography thread in the OT section.

Well, we put the photography forum as a subsection of the NYC Weather forum because it is especially for outdoor/nature/weather photography.

I just added the MySpace and Facebook pages. I'm surprised more people haven't! The severe weather data tracker is a really nice feature.

I don't experience any problems. I tested in both Firefox and Internet Explorer. Try clearing your cache, Temporary Internet Files, and Cookies and restarting your browser.

Brett - I'm thinking, maybe after the frenzy of this latest winter storm dies down, maybe we can reiterate the fact that we have a Facebook page for NYC Metro weather..perhaps you can create a topic in the main weather discussion since most have a facebook profile these days.
wxtracker93
Agreed.. I think we'll work on playing up our Facebook page and make it more attractive.

Hi -

What is the Facebook name? When the server hiccuped the other day, I looked for it on Facebook... with no luck. And, I'm not Tweeter, or Twitterer.

Thanks,
Denise
