Time for me to get a new camera and I need some advice.

Most of my pictures will be action shots. Soccer, Lacrosse, etc. There are also some Gradutation and Prom photos in the near future. Most of the prints will just be 4x6, but will want to blow up the occassional good shot.

I am hoping to stay in the $400-$500 range. Thoughts? Recommendations?

Thought a little follow up here might help others get a good deal.

After looking at the Rebel and various reviews I decided thats what I wanted. Started looking at prices. Found that Costco had by far the best deals. For the same price as the base camera and lens in all other stores, Costco offered a package that included that base and lens, PLUS a telephoto lens and 2 GIG memory card. About $200 in extra value.

Problem is that they only offer one model at a time. I wanted to get the 10 megapixel. It was not offered until this month. Bought the package for $699....after tax and shipping was $750. Its on the doorstep now.
