7.0" of snow with 0.25" of ice

Nicw shots, that hurts to get that much snow just to have freezing rain on top. Cant do anything in that stuff.

For travel thank god it snowed first. It would have ben a NIGHTMARE to have snow on that ice.

Yeah my car was completely frozen solid today. And the roads were still ice and snow covered today since it was in the single digits most of the day.

Went skiing today and it was freezing but all of the trees were covered in ice and rime ice so it was a sight to see!

Haha yeah that was a lot more ice than anyone expected.

And yes be glad you got out when you did. Thursday was a nightmare travel day in terms of traffic.
