OK, I think this is a sparrow hawk, but not sure. Anyone know for sure? My wife left for work yesterday morning, I get a call one min. later with her saying, what the f#$% is sitting on the railing, she backed out of the garage right past him and it just stared at her. It stayed about 15-20 min.

Maybe a Coopers Hawk. I think that fits better.

I think its a Sharp-shinned hawk, they love eating song birds. Coopers is very similair. Was the tail rounded or squared. thats the best way to tell them apart. If round then it is a coopers
