Yeah. Lee Goldberg mentioned the multiple threats last night at 11. Seems like we won't escape February without at least 1 more fairly sizable storm along with the likelihood of nuisance snow a few more times.

I'm down with having another moderate event or two, but hopefully minimal or no ice. The December 2019 ice event was a relatively small area, but highly impactful event up this way.

This week is going to be a messy one in many areas. If blocking is still legit then expect the storms to be snowier.

So are we talking there is a storm Tuesday and 2 days later another major storm? Both east coast hits.
Right now the Thursday storm is modeled to be an inland runner.

feel bad for the kids.
between the faux schooling and now the prolonging of staying inside and less access to just getting out, the damage to some mentally may be irreversible

Agreed, this schedule totally sucks for the kids. But parents also need to step it up - plan activities, make them do things, ensure they complete the schoolwork they are given, learn to communicate with their teachers, and keep them the hell off their phones, games, and social media. Some of us are desperate to have students more involved in our classes, even if it has to be remote due to weather or virus.

The more forecasts and discussions I read for the next 3 events, the more confident I am that they have no clue what's going to happen in my area, except that it's going to be all frozen.

I have a feeling this is going to be awful up here. Give me a ton of sleet over freezing rain anyday

I've been through real bad ice storms up here. Trust me, you don't want one. I know you're a transplanted lowlander. LMFAO!
Anyway, I hope you have a generator.

I know this forecast will not be correct, but my WeatherUnderground forecast from tomorrow afternoon through next Friday morning is calling for around to 22" of snow. Even half that would be something.
